Trumpet Seminar in Truro School, Cornwall (click here for a text-only application form for this seminar) Truro School Is a well-established private school with its own chapel and ample practice facilities. Its campus affords fine views over the capital city of Cornwall, with its imposing cathedral, elegant Georgian streets, excellent shops and many pubs and bistros worthy of investigation! The Truro River flows into the nearby South coast, with its gentle wooded meadows; whilst the North coast’s long sandy beaches and bracing Atlantic air are a mere 6 miles away. There is plenty to see and enjoy here! The Course We are proud to offer the possibility of studying with two trumpeters with such great reputations as both performers and teachers. Comparing notes and socialising with colleagues from other countries is usually found to be a very fruitful exercise also. Players are invited to bring any material they particularly want to work-on to Truro and at the end of the week some of the repertoire will be performed in concert. The course will be tailored to individuals’ wishes. Participants may arrive from 5 pm on 28th July and are welcome to stay for breakfast on 4th August. Cost £495 (sterling) to include tuition, accommodation and all meals. A deposit of £100 is payable to reserve a place. Contact Application forms and further information
